About Step

Sustainable Impact and Ecological Planning Association (STEP), seeking solutions to urban and social problems on the axis of sustainability principles, protecting nature in ecosystem integrity and promoting it to society, producing development projects compatible with nature and climate change, bringing innovative solutions to climate change-related problems, increasing the efforts in including the disadvantaged groups and the projects and activities based on human rights; bringing innovative solutions to problems related to climate change; providing research and analysis projects in order to carry out urban and regional activities such as disaster and risk management, migration, historical preservation, low-carbon design and applications, taking into account ecological values; drawing public attention to urban and environmental issues; carrying out studies for the protection and promotion of local and ecological values ​​and to cooperate with institutions working in these fields.

The STEP team, consisting of 6 City Planners and 1 Public Relations specialist, works to create a sustainable future both locally and globally by melting different areas of interest in the sustainability pot. Each member of the team is active in the social field, with interests and work such as archaeology, gender, radio broadcasting. The STEP team has extensive experience in community awareness-raising, urban and regional planning, strategy development for local and regional institutions, and dissemination of results.
